Also, check your trailer's brake fluid level and quality. If the fluid is contaminated (it absorbs water), it may be a source of your issues.
Make sure brake lines have been bled.

Cabelas has to transfer the credit amount to a Cabelas card. I did this in person at the service counter. Not sure if you can do it online.

Make sure not to tie the rope to your gunnels. Have your boat number written on a piece of cardboard so the lock master can read it.
