I would not recommend it. The current SS plug is the best drain plug I have ever had in a boat..If it’s an issue to reach it, ask an able person to assist you.
Their metal drain plug has been the best plug I ever had in any boat. I wouldn’t trade that product for what is essentially the same operating mechanism as the livewell.
If the change to the plastic drain plug is planned for all models, I’m hoping the all- metal plug will be an option at time of ordering.

My opinion on what you would like to change.....the all-metal drain plugs on bass cats are excellent / top notch. I wouldn’t swap it out for those cheesy plastic remote drain plugs.
Basscat boats come with a fantastic all metal drain plug system. I'd rather have this one versus swapping out to the plastic plug and tknob.
