I went ahead and tried that today and it was a turn off or so. It still works fine in the garage but ill have to give it a go on the water to see if it fixed it or not. I appreciate the help either...

I am having an issue with my motor grinding and not shifting into reverse. It shifts great into forward, never had a single issue there. Runs...
I was using amazon, but it went from 109 for 3 gallons to 139 which is a little out of my league.
domo has good prices but shipping was showing $40 which is kinda nuts.
The Pennzoil or...
Hello,
I have been premixing 50:1 XD100 in my 1997 Johnson 200 Venom and everything has been good, but it is getting really tough to come by around here. I have seen xd100 as the primary...
I have those plugs under the seat on my 191 and just went through the same thing. Bought about 5 different ones I couldn't get to fit. Finally I got a variety pack of sink stoppers on amazon and one...
I see the plastic center console one on there, but what about the metal one at 4:45 in the video? I could just be missing it.
Thanks!
Excellent job!
I used the hydroturf in the seating area when I re carpeted my champ and I love the stuff.
Was that day box that you added in front of the step up custom built?
Thanks for the help. Im going to adjust the hot foot for now. I am going to replace all those bushings and see how it goes. Part number 0308532 for those of you with the same motor.

My plan is to add a new Helix to my bow with the eventual possibility for a 360. Since the mega 360 is coming out in December I figure I should buy a unit that'll be able to use it.
I have a Helix...
The concealed mounting kits are worth the extra money on those.
Be careful for the pvc tube with wiring behind the rail. It can be pulled down and moved if needed.
I used these in my 191: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HLYT3GO/
They are 30lb and $20 for a 2pack. They easily lift the lid themselves, and there is zero chance they will fall. I've had them...
Ive never used those exact locks, but the ones I have messed with remove like this:
The metal piece that turns when you lock/unlock it can be removed with a single screw on the end of it. There is...

This looks like it, you might have to do some searching to find a smaller piece of it though.
Put them in my 1997 Champion 191. I used Boat Buckles with the concealed mounting kit. They fit great and you have to drill a much smaller hole with the add-on kit.
I just used a 1" paddle drill...
It was really easy to cut in, the foam under the deck is about a foot thick you have to cut out, but other than that it's simple with a little skill saw
I should receive the material in a few days and hopefully be able to install it this week. I will be sure to post them when I get a chance

Does anyone know how to cut the pedestal hole on the back deck? I feel like if I cut it out round it is going to eventually frey over time. Is there some kind of round trim piece people use?

Check out the post in this thread by barbarian, his looks really good.
I got a 4 pack of 4 1/2" disks off amazon for $20, I did not check harbor freight but they probably have them.
The grinder is harbor freight from a tile job I did a while back, I think it was...

Got the back deck done. Made a few mistakes, one peice came up a little short and had to add a small section on. Also a small wrinkle in one area, doing a full length section really should...

Went with waterproof LED lights on amazon. They have been great so far, and even if they don't last forever its $16 for 20 of them so not bad.
