Any tips/tricks to help make opening & closing the lids easier. The new carpet is a little thicker than the old stuff.

If it is the Brown wire from the timer pod, I believe it will piggy back on the bottom left terminal in the picture which is the Starboard switch. End up with a brown and brown & blue line doubled up...
What color is the loose wire? Brown or Brown & Blue Line

To test just cycle the switch between 2-4-6 and the auto switch. If it still doesn't work, you can look under the front panel. Dad has a 96 201 Pro and it uses a red cylinder looking timer pod. It is...
Its a 2 step process. The master switch powers the front panel. Once on, go to the front and select the port or starboard switch or both to either manual or auto fill.
It is located under the front dash. It is plugged in line with the 2.4.6 switch. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.
