Problem solved, it was a throttle position sensor that wasn't making contact in neutral anymore. The boat was constantly thinking it was in neutral so it was only running on 4 cylinders.

i had it on the muffs. Of the course the coil only gives me a problem when it's on the water so it's hard to tell which one is giving me issues.
3 plugs are grey and 3 are blue... I do have 3 replacements that have the grey plugs so I may replace those for the blue ones

Is there an easy way to diagnose which coil pack is bad? I have tried testing the resistance on a good one vs a bad one, but is it possible for a coil pack to be bad even if it has the same...
I tried the single electrode autolite plugs and tried to crank up the motor, and it took several cranks to even get it running. I put the old dual electrode NGK plugs back in and the motor cranked...

Check the spark plugs and see what they look like.
