will the HDS pro sync feature also work with an active target 1 unit?

I put the Airmar P79 in my 2009 Ranger Z520 years ago and it has worked fine thru multiple generations of Lowrance units. It has only 2 frequencies 50 and 200 Khz.

You are right about the vortex hubs. The spindle is 1 3/8" straight and Vortex hubs are not made for that size straight spindle but I did see a vault hub that might work ...

You are correct. Ranger told me the bearings are L68149 and I measured the OD of the wear sleeve and is 1.68. I think I found a source for the sleeve on Ebay.

I think you are correct. I ordered some replacement sleeves from the trailer parts superstore that are for UFP spindles. They are not expensive so worth a try. Thanks to all for help.
