I’ve always used stabile marine every fill up with no issues, I am also burning through a lot more fuel then the a barrage bass boater since I am inshore/offshore fishing
one thing that I have...
Replaced my O ring last month have put about 20 hours on the motor so far all rpm ranges, and guess what the motor didn’t blow up. But on a serious note everything is fine no more leak same amount of...
If you remove the port rail you can use a C clamp to clamp it tight then remove bolts then slowly back of the clamp, just do opposite when installing. No need for special tool when rail is removed
Update for me, I replaced o ring with one that was the exact same size and after sitting for a day with out running or priming pump I saw it still had a very slight leak so opened it back up and like...
Thanks you, I guess I’ll just repair that 10 pin just Incase
Any one
Question regarding where you plug in the CDS to perform oil pump prime
is it the digital diagnostic terminal connector on the side of the ecm or is it the SC5000 data harness or accessory connector?...
Exactly right you said “if I screwed up the install” then that could be the risk but I’m not going to screw up the install, also I think there is more “risk” running a bad direct injector and taking...
But in reality what are you risking? If you are mechanicly inclined and have knowledge Im simply hand tools this is a simple fix
some people can’t do any kind of work related to...
You can purchase a new one for $358.47, just seems like a very basic system I was able press the plunger and see oil coming out of the disconnected compressor oil line
and I can understand why...
Mine is leaking from the oil pump, today I decided to open it up since I’m either replacing it or repairing it any way and it looks like a very simple repair
I think I’m going to replace the O ring...
Have a question regarding blue air injectors, after having them tested I need to replace a few on my motors and there is a parts motor local to me that the guy is willing to work with me on buying...
I do believe if it's bad or defective it can dump fuel into crank case since the pulse pump runs of crank case pressure
Might be that the motor is in "break in mode" doubling the oil consumption but the trim leaking shouldn't be happening
Looking for a reed block for a 2005 200 3.0 opti reed block # is 828623T6.
Now I see a lot of them on eBay that say for 3.0 optimax 200/225/250hp that have # 828633T4. They appear to be similar but...
Here are some pics of both regulators, there was a lot of corrosion were the air and fuel lines attach also, so bad I wouldn't want to reuse ...
What would be the best way to verify this? Pressurize water inlet and outlet or the air system?
Well decided to pull apart the port side fuel rail and the regulators were in bad shape fuel reg diaphragm had a pin hole edge of it was tore. The air regulator was in bad shape also lots of...
Savage, just pulled both stats and they were clean of debris. Tested them in hot water both opened and closed tightly, they have about 200 hours on them since replaced last.
thats why I keep asking...
I don't have access to a cds unless I take it to a shop, when I was trying ohm test it the motor had been shut down for a few hours and out side air temp was about 30 degrees and I wasn't getting any...
How about checking the temp sensor with ohm meter? What's the correct way
Will do savage that was next on my list of things to check
first off I wanna say thanks for chiming in on this issue don
but I will check compression with another tool, I was using a rental from a local auto parts store and it was 28 degrees out side that...

so did some testing, tested fuel and air pressures fuel I had 87-88psi and air had 85psi at idle and 5/10/15 seconds pressures drop fast and held at 10psi fuel 0psi air. now I'm...
