From what I can tell they are original.. bolts still had perfect paint until I messed with em this winter. I emailed Rhonda this morning and asked for an invoice for two thermostats and two gaskets....
Thanks Savage, I assume that will tell me which thermostat is the issue... though it may be both of them causing problems.
OK, so on the water test after my last appointment today.... first startup, 3.4-3.6 psi @ idle, motor warms up and settles in around 125 degrees... not bad for 41 degree water I thought. Idle only...
Parts received from Don yesterday. Installed last night.... wow, OK.... now I understand "as buttered"
The new poppet interfaces with the new grommet without friction it seems. The old poppet and...
Same here, changed at 300ish hours and saved the old one as a spare... blowing one up sounds expensive (belt shreds going everywhere in the engine)
Yupper, I ordered the parts from Rhonda today. Should be here in a few days.. I will post back if this resolves it for search fodder :) a few threads matched my symptoms and it appeared the solution...
sheesh, my apologies ... I screwed up when typing it... after a run when I set down to idle I see the low pressure... will edit to clarify my post above. Water pressure while running is great, 20psi...
Hello,
I have a 2010 200 ProXS Serial 1B804175 with symptoms of what I believe to be a sticky poppet valve. Here is the situation.
New water pump this spring (less than 2 hrs on it)
Pulled...
Hey, that was my partner and I :thumb up2:
I run a 25 Fury but thats on a 2010 P2 hull... not sure if the difference in hull will drive a different recommendation
Yup, that was it, couldn't find the user manual anywhere.... thank you
It appears that this thing will do most of what the garage outboard mechanic would need, show faults, freeze frame...
Looks like the Techmate Pro scan tool -$499 and the 94006 adapter -$49 will work for most of us with '07 or newer ProXS motors? What all do these tools do? I read the website, maybe I am just dense...
9' doors suck, it amazes me that people put them in.... when building our house the third stall door at 10' wide wasn't even an upcharge.
One of the comments I got over here http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=686193 was that they were not bass, he said bluegill more likely as they looked <10" long on the side and down...
Awesome! That makes me feel better! So the bass will show up as bigger "tic tacs" on the side and down image?
I read that too... and it looks like they should have been ready to eat to me...
LOL, true, though we did listen to other music throughout the day and Daytona the next afternoon... didn't seem to matter
not 100% sure as I didn't catch any
didn't throw a spoon, but jigs and dropshots galore were thrown... Ill try the spoon next time I get out
Just a few I snapped this weekend while not catching any fish... ice just came off and muddy :)
I asked for help over here http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=686193 but anyone chime in if...
Enough ice melted for us to launch boats on a couple local lakes. I spent the afternoons getting after them this weekend but came home empty handed. The water is 40-42 and 4 to 6" visibility... not...
You bet Don! Thanks for your help Monday... I got the travel set correctly last night and the replacement roller is on its way from Rhonda... good deal all around! Thanks again.
Thank you for your input Don.
Sounds good, I will replace the roller (I assumed that would be required, it is flat spotted several places).
I checked the throttle travel with the cable...
Hbd man! Enjoy yourself!
