Haha, I knew you guys would know. Thanks for the answers. It looks like a fun boat/deathtrap though.

The only smaller Allison Bass boats I've seen are the XST's but this one is a center console. I looked around pretty good and haven't found any...
Great Job on the boat, looks fantastic!
I feel that if you take a look at the automotive market you can get a glimpse of whats coming in the marine market. As electric vehicles continue to evolve and develop that technology will trickle...
Even more impressive, the guy that finished 2nd used an ol' Bass Tracker.

Gotcha, kinda similar to my dad's old 130 V4 Johnson that runs the V6 gearcase.
I thought the command thrust option was like the old "big foot" models for pontoon boats. Can you get the command thrust with the shorter shaft length?
I'm happy to see I wasn't the only one having a hard time catching them there. Last weekend was my first time fishing Guntersville. Definitely an intimidating place to fish, especially with 1,000+...
While it's not the easiest thing to install, you can do it on the driveway. You'll need some jack stands, several large metric sockets, a big hammer to bust loose the ball joints and tie rods.

Right now it's a Zoom Ol' Monster. We've been night fishing docks throughout the summer catching them on black ones, switched up to a green pumpkin last Sunday afternoon and pulled in an eight.

Comfortroll on a TR-17
One of the mono leaf springs on our TR-17 trailer broke 2 years ago. Sucks trying to find a flatbed to tow a boat home in the middle of the night.
The only thing I don't like about the trackers is the front livewell like others have said. I guess it wouldn't take much to convert it to a storage compartment though. Looking at both sites, a 175...
I have found you a boat!
1986 Bullet bass boat 17ft xp 150
It has a weird layout but it'll haul some serious butt!
You might could get a Triton Tr-18 for 6k. First year they came out was '97. You can also find plenty of mid 90's Stratos/Javelins with 150 OMC Fast Strikes or Astro/Pro-Crafts with 150 Merc XR6's....
Our '97 Tr17 has a 130 on it.

If you're putting a Merc on there you might have to get 125 stickers instead of 130.
Here's the sticker for ya:

According to the color code, Pink is for the fuel gauge and the tan wires might be for a water temp gauge.

Brandon Card's Triton/Suziki looked awesome in person at the classic. He had the motor painted custom flat black to match the wrap.

JVD's boat looks pretty sharp too.

My dad and I had to deal with electrical gremlins on his 130 last year. After a bunch of head scratching by us and a mechanic we found out that two wires coming off the stator under the flywheel had...
My local Wal-Mart had some of the Falcon Jason Christie signature rods in stock between $62-95. The Falcon HD series is either made in China or made with Chinese blanks (not sure) though.

I've got one of the blue 7'0 ft composite cranking rods and i've had zero issues with it and works great for me. My brother bought a few of them and has had a few break on him. I'd say if you go to...
you could use this diverter valve to use one aerator pump to recirculate and pump the livewell out. You would still need a 2nd aerator pump to fill the well though.

Just browsing around, found an Apollo for $220 w/ free shipping and hub kit. seems like a pretty good deal. as far as tachs go, best deal i've found so far is around $57-65 bucks.

If I remember right, there is a 4 wire plug under the throttle controls with a merc logo on it. I'm guessing it's probably the 4 wires you just listed.
