Running a 24P 4 blade prop right now. Little sluggish out of the hole and only hitting 5300rpms. Would I benefit from either a smaller prop or a 6" jackplate?

One more quick one. I seen Johnson Oil at WalMart but it didn't say XD anything but it did say semi synthetic and had the full synthetic. Know any reason why?

2005 175 Johnson. I would guess it's been on the water less than 20 times! You just had to meet the guy I bought it from. ...

I thought the 2002 was considered ficht? It's direct inject. I'm not familiar with Evinrude.

Also on the radar a Pantera III 2003 model with 200 Evinrude DI rebuilt recently. Less than 15k. Looks great.

Looking at the pics it's been garage kept all it's life. Looks great! Was willing to provide the computer read out to show how it's been ran. All new batteries, impeller, plugs etc.

I'm seeing it this way.... If I wanted a newer one with warranty it would run me 22-30k. This one at 12k even if the motor goes I can probably replace it for 4k putting me at 16k. I think it's worth...

Motor less than 300 hours. Not many hours above 5k. The motor is the only part that I"m worried about. What would you guys worry about when buying a boat with no warranty?

Ok while I have you all on the hook. How worried should you be buying used with no warranty? I've considered boats in the 10k range but I'm afraid of a blown engine down the road.

Anyone see this on a new revo premier? the crome ish area around the magnetic drag and line guide area looks to be oxidizing already. Anything that can be done for this?
