I think it's 100 hours or every year, whichever comes first. It's cheap insurance considering the Ethanol issues with fuel these days.

I just installed several new components to the fuel system of my 2001 225 Vmax EFI:

Added a Yamaha 10 micron water filter/separator (between tank and primer bulb)

And replaced the following...
