Very sorry to hear about David. Barb, you are in our prayers.
Yup. Had a good time.
Well howdy there yanko Long time no see. BTW...I got a new phone and lost all my contacts.
The 202 ran 87 best run stock. It would blow out when it hit that speed. Ran a tick over 85 every day. The was hit with a 29 -T and the 85 was with an A45 27p Tempest. This was before all the...
Difference is john, you have a HPDI case and he has the regular foot. The regufloor.. hard to drive, but they are drivable. they get easier when you have them set up correctly. The regular foot is...
Did not say it would not work. My 210 ran 92 with a 10" plate with a full load. Just was not gonna run any faster. Keith experimented with more on the 210 and it did not help him. maybe yours is the...
You're turning an A40 7 grand, you had better be careful. They are known to crack and sling blades. What kind of foot do you have on it?
What Rebel said. It may hurt your holeshot a little.
I think the 210 has about 6 more in of setback which is why the 10" plate is best on it. The 202 runs very well with 15-16" of setback. I have seen people go more with the 210, but IMO it does not...
Don, please put a 300X on there. I will help you with the setup.
The 3 blade in either a TXP or a T1 will do better.
The ring will help, but it will never be as good as when that prop is on a Merc. The O/T props do not do very well on HPDI motors.
South carolina only titles boats and motors. You do not have to title the trailer.
I always like the color of Ken's gunmetal 202.
Some of the Fury props suck on holeshot even with all the plugs out.
2002 was the first year.
Sort of depends on how you load the boad. If it is heavy loaded, I don't know how mych the short shaft will help you with that 2.5. It should run very good with a short shaft, light load, and an over...
In the ones i tested, the OX66 was stronger than the HPDI....thus the 27 vs the 26.
Ran a worked 29 TXP 3 blade. A chopper never ran well on my boat, but i think it was because of the lower unit on the yamaha. They usually do pretty good on Mercs. I would try it and see, but the 210...
I don't think you will ever see mid 90's loaded with 2. The best mine ever ran loaded with 1 person aboard was 92.8....and i had a good amount of hp.
That's what you're gonna have to use. I had to pull one on my 02.
I would not go over a 28 if you have the 1.62 gears and you run light. Chances are if you are hitting the limiter, you are still very close on having the right pitch. I would prop it to turn about...
What pitch prop and is it a 4 blade?
You may have some gravel/trash in the poppit valve.
It doesn't usually matter that much with weight in the back on top end. Putting a heavier TM on the front will cost you up to 3 mph.
