I tried to install sandwich power pole brackets and they would hit the hull. What are my options on brackets? Do i have to buy a new jackplate? That way they can mount on the sides of the jackplate?...

I jumped the wires and it works in both directions. Ordered a new switch today

3 wires. What does each do? A up and a down and a hot wire? What colors do what?

I took off the shifter cable at the engine and out of the mount. The cable threaded back in. Put back together and it’s working.
