Thanks
Yes you are correct it is a 9 pin connector. Just that there are 5 pins making the connection. BH stated it’s not a newer model. Have they changed anything in the HDI transducers internally over the...
I have not mounted it yet. What are the frequency choices in 2d sonar. I am figuring the 455/800 are the DI frequencies. That’s the only two frequencies that are on the silver transducer tag.
Is simrad transducer 003-21727-00 fa HDI 455/800 9 pin 2 d capable as well as DI. If so what frequency does the 2d run at.
thanks
happy New Year
So did the AT 2 module work with the AT 1 transducer.
Yes if he wants 2d sonar he is going to need another transducer. The lss2 does not have 2d capabilities. He should have went with the total scan transducer. That has 2d, DI, and SI.
I bought a HDI 9 pin with the 6 ft cable. The only thing with the one I got the arm on top was fixed for the transom mount and not removable to install on TM.
There is only one AI 3 in 1 there maybe different length cables. That one looks like the basic long cable one that came with carbons and lives
He has it listed as the active image 3-1
Looking for just the module and power cord. Thanks text 518-588-8164
Thanks that was my next question wondering what frequency they use for DI. Was there a specific reason they went to fixed frequency vs what they had on totalscan. Thanks again and happy new year.
Delete please
I found out hat the new A1 3 in 1 only put out one frequency with DI. Not like the totalscans on Gen 3’s.
Is there a choice of frequency when on the DI screen like the SI on the new live units.
I should add that I am using the A1 3 in 1 transducer only. I am not on the water with the unit but when I go...
Sent you a PM about purchasing it.
[QUOTE=glennie;12784099]The AI 3-in-1 was not an improvement in DownScan over HDI. AI DownScan is fixed 600 kHz. HDI’s have 455 or 800 kHz options and much better DownScan. Lots of complaints out...
It’s hard to beat the club member price of $899 for the 9 live with the A1 3 in 1 transducer. If you happen to have any club points to use that even helps on the price.
Your only other choice is the HDI that will fit.
I think You need 2 more T’s one that goes to 12 volts for powering up the nema network the other for the graph you have now plugged in the end and then you need a resistor cap on the end after you...
If the gen 3 doesn’t read the transducer and reverse software to 7.0 does’t work the only other way would be to Ethernet from the Carbon to read a transducer. I have seen a few gen3’s that the sonar...
If you want to upgrade to better transducer they have an adapter cable to hookup a 9 pin transducer. I may have one if your interested.
It’s definitely a crack but it should be fine.
I have a transducer adapter cable that will allow you to hook up a 9 pin transducer to your hook 2. This will allow you to use a total scan transducer which is much better than the standard...
I had the same problem with a gen3 with 18.2 software. Had to go back to 7.0 software.
