That 203 with a running motor is not a 11-12k boat as previously posted. 203’s are bringing the money right now,,,it’s a 15k plus boat all day long ( probably 16k plus). Lots of people looking for...
Do you remember where you found the composit pods? I have a 210 and won’t be able to mount them in the sidewalks, and don’t really want to cut them into the rod lockers..
Thinking you were drilling from the outside and would advise against that. I'm not real sure about drilling from the inside either, mainly because of the possibility of water getting into the wood....
Take a grinder to it, takes about 10 minutes to do it. Just work your way around it ( just deep enough where the pole goes in the floor and clicks in ) I have done it on several now. works great
Do you have any pictures of this? I installed one on my old 203 this year, and love it. Bought another one for my new boat, and will install it later this winter because I have to remove all...
I did run it as it was, and the tail is lower, but it was rough so I could not really hammer down
Probably will do that, I was curious if I would need to drop the motor and start over. Pat Has said before to raise the motor till you lose lift or speed, then go back one.
from what I understand...
2000 203 champion, 2003 225 regular optimax. 3" PTP
10" rapid jack
25 tempest worked by mark croxton. 68 mph at 5660 rpm ( touched 69 a couple of times) decent load, full fuel, empty livewell.me...
I have a 2000, and it also has the covers
Croxton
I may be pulling mine off in the near future, full set of 4, actually 5 if I replace the wheel for the spare.... I would keep tires for new wheels.
tank is at the rear on a 2000 203
Didn't see the brand or model on it. He was able to locate a new timer and got it installed yesterday,,, Thanks again for the help.
Thanks for for the info, got it figured out, new timer installed
He said it only has 3 wires coming off of the back of the timer. I will stop by later and look at it myself.
His has the timer sitting below the switch panel. all of the switches are lined up and...
It is factory, I haven't personally looked at it, ( the wires on back of the timer ) my dad bought the boat last week. I will send it over to him and have him check it out. Thanks for the info.
does anybody have a wiring diagram, on how the livewell timer is supposed to be wired up? The one I'm working with has a 3rd wire that is just hanging loose unconnected.
I have both pumps in the compartment with the cranking battery on my 203.
I moved the battery charger further toward the rear of the compartment, and I was able to get them both in.
I added the white LED's, I think it looks better, also quite a bit brighter.
My 203 did not like them.
can you access the cooler with the step box from c&o?
Thats the answer I was looking for, thanks Pat.
Really thinking more running at WOT. Say my best speed comes from running max rpm's at say 5300 rpm (hypothetically ) Is that too low of RPM's for running the boat WOT? I doubt that would be the...
Where should I still be ok RPM wise on the lower end?. Rev limiter is set at 5750, so I know running past that isn't a good thing. Is there such a number for the lower end of the RPM range to not...
