I know you checked the vent line, but there is also a vent screen built into the underside of the fuel cap that can plug up. You just unscrew it to clean...that's all I can think of you may have...

Looks to me like maybe your jackplate has less setback than ones that do not have the problem?? MKNJ671 (posted above) with 12" plate has no problem, so i'm guessing yours is smaller 6" setback, so...

BCB is correct. I recently replaced both pickups on my Skeeter. The originals had a mesh "sock" on the bottom. You can buy replacement tubes which include the fitting at top from any marine supplier...

The "float" in that picture iooks like an electronic one, not a mechanical float....but it does the same job. It likely is the culprit and can be replaced with either type.

You should be able to see or access the troll wires by removing the cockpit floor drain cover also.

My 02 is also 6ga. The info is actually pressed into the wire casing, not printed on, so hard to see.

Although the up relay is clicking, it's worth a try to swap the up and down relays just to be sure it's not a "weak" one....
