All the above are good tips. One other that you might look at. You said the front roller position was not adjustable. Are you sure? It looks like it is sitting to high. if you can't get enough...
+1 on fluid.. Check that first. It happened on mine.
Look on the mercury web site for a phone number for pubs. You can order any of there pubs there and they will help you get the right one for your motor.

One thing that can give you that problem is the fuel bulb. Easy to check. After it dies, give the fuel bulb a squeeze and see if it's soft.
Quick and cheap test anyway.

Here's one that I built years ago, and it still going strong.

It was made mostly of outdoor garage door trim (white) you can get the stuff from Home depot. It is resin based and...
Ditto on the the exact combo here, with the 25P Trophy. I have gone thru 3 trophy's over the years(all slung a blade). All were around 70 @ 5800 RPM on an original 200 efi. You should be doing...
I upgraded my 1999 tr-20 seats which had the lift up brackets with some later seats which had the screw through the seat brackets. I justed screwed the new brackets to the old and slid them into the...
Have you thought of trying a switch for a 175? You should even get some money on the deal.
This is my 4th(?) WOW and as usual it was great. I really enjoy taking these guys out to get a little fishing in. One comment I would add about the weigh in. I'm sure that a lot of fish died because...
I just bought a new 2010 Silverado with trailering package and I am trying to get Battery +12V to the trailer plug. I added the 40A fuse in the underhood fuse box, but still no voltage at the back....
If you are very careful and don't need to pull the motor too far off the boat, you might be able to get away without disconnecting the world. I mounted a 6" jack plate without disconnecting anything....
Since nobody answered. I have an old Triton (99) but I think that I read that the new seats are anchored with a screw through the indent in the center of the seat. Run your fingers in the groove and...
It depends a little on your trailer. I had them on my old trailer and they were absolutely worthless because they were too low. Watch how high your side bunks are when trailer is backed in water....
Yes. You can wire the 7 plug instead of the 4 prong. Just be sure you have the right wires. My Tahoe users manual had the diagram for the socket, if you don't, do a search. The wiring diagrams have...
I've never heard of a water pressure alarm. The Merc's have an overheat alarm, but by then it can sometimes be late (just prior to engine blowing). http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif I...
Steve;
What was the part number for the H.F. polisher? I see one for $39.95, but none for $19.95.
Thanks, Rich

http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif To what Chris said. Brand new all aluminum and stainless trailer should go $2000 to $2500 and will last you forever. I think that the manufacturer standard...
Diodes also have a (this is going way back in memory) zener voltage, that basically limits voltage across the diode. This means that the voltage spike that you may get when you first close the relay...
So what was the final result? Top end. RPM, prop?

The dealer should have known there was a problem. I bet this fixes it and you are going to need at least a 25" prop.....

Yeah. Still the same one. I can't imagine a 21 (or even a 23) being right for that rig. I could be wrong (once or twice). Try Triton boat forum and/or try the "props" or "setup"...
Post your question on the Triton boat section of the forums. I'm sure you will find several people with identical rigs that can tell you exactly their setups... That said, I can't believe that a 21"...
Gobbler;
Your best bet is to find the wiring diagram for the specific boat. Which boat is it? In general the boats come with 2 sets of heavy gauge wire 1 set to each TM battery and the jumper is in...
