Nice Rig
I am running a
2000 Pro G 185 its been good to me
I have a 1999 model boat is solid and a great ride.
That $ is hi for a 2000 year boat.
No jack plate. Runs faster than a old man can keep up with.
I also have a 1999 GIII glass boat. My boat has the Green accent. This has been a great solid boat.
I upgraded to bucket seats & a 150HP 4 stroke now ready for many more years of basin.
Garage kept...
follow up after you run the 28 should run about 65 MPH with 10% slip @ 6150 RPM
brob
My F150 also has a 2.5 gear I think a 28 pitch is a good start
18.5 Skeeter -- Suzuki DF150 Turning a 28 4 blade zuke prop @ 5900RPM = GPS 59 MPH
Trim Tabs
DF150 2.50 gear ratio running Suzuki 4 blade 28 Pitch 950RPM 59MPH GPH 1999 18.5 Ft Skeeter bass boat happy with Suzuki
1999 ProG 180 running 2010 Suzuki DF150 GPH 58-MPH
Check with Mark about a 28-30 Bravo I think there larger Dia. would get you where you want to be.
I sent you a PM with my phone # call if you need to discuss

When I put on the Suzuki DF150 I was concerned with the added weight of 4 stroke.
That is why I went with a 4 blade 28 Pitch Suzuki prop to have more stern lift.
For 3 years GIII made alum. boats for Skeeter & Skeeter made glass boats for GIII. Pick any 3 years froe 1997 thru 2001
I don't rember what the exact 3 years. My boat is a 1999
1999 GIII Pro185 All Glass Manufactures by Skeeter.
Came originally with a Yamaha 150 that "bit the dust"
The original repower order was for a Yamaha 150 4Stroke earthquake shut down Yahama....
160641My old GIII she still good & solid
I have a old 18.5Ft. Skeeter with a Suzuki DF150. I am running a
4 blade 28Pitch Suzuki Prop no jack plate
Turns 5800 RPM & 58 GPS
hope this helps
I have a DF150 on a 18.5 old Skeeter great runs GPS 57
been on 3 years love it
My HP180 is a glass boat. If your boat is glass. Then when the bottom seat is folbed up the back seat is mounted to brackets on the back and lifts straight up.
Here is a view of my 1998 Pro GIII39404
I ran a Yamaha prop to break-in my BF150
With your numbers you have 23% slip you should be able to get closer to 10% slip that will get you close to 60MPH
With an extra 25HP you should be able to turn to 6100 and that will get you 60+
18.5 Ft Skeeter glass bass boat
DF-150
28P x 14 3/8 Dia 4 blade Suzuki Prop
54 MPH (gps) @ 5600
Hope this helps
