What size is the trim lok?
Should be a plastic plug with champion logo? if so a flat screwdriver or sharp putty knife can pry it up to remove.
If you're willing to pay new retail prices, find a used on at a good price and have it B&B'd at a good prop shop and it'll be better prop and cost less. check this sight for deals.
Thanks for reply's. Update: I drained and refilled lower unit gearlube, no water or metal shavings in oil. Looked normal. Removed prop, cleaned, and inspected. Nothing unusual with prop and shaft, no...
Hmm, interesting, I would not have thought of the lower unit. Easy enough to change the gear lube.

Hi, yesterday when I took the boat out in morning I had a very distinct engine misfire, at least I think. When I left the no wake area then accelerated for hole shot...
That's about what mine looks like. Mine are barely visible! I had to use light with different angles and camera shots with different lighting and angles to make out the numbers. Seems their tags all...
You probably have a 12/24 volt set up with the 2 breakers. I had this on my 2001 206. I removed the 2 breakers an ran a single re-settable circuit breaker. I had 3 cables running to the front, only...
When i first got the 206 i noticed that it had a bit of tipsiness compared to my old skeeter that was super stable and my friends ranger that's rock solid also. After 3 years its not even noticeable...

hopefully this isn’t the one that stiffed you. Been listed awhile

interesting that you have no issues with the 45" TM shaft not coming out of water. My current maxxum has the shorter shaft of 43" or 45"(which ever they had back then) and it comes out of water all...
Very Cool!!! how long did this take you to complete?
how does the hydro turf stick to to deck? you wrap it around the floor door panel edges? I love the idea, because i absolutely hate carpet....
thank you, i appreciate all your insight
do you still think the 80lb fortrex is underpowered for this boat? I ask because you mentioned you want to upgrade to 36v.
It would always be easier to just go 24v and move on, but I have this...
I believe I am understanding how I could adapt the link features for my use.
Both my helix’s are connected with the single Ethernet cable. So an ethernet switch will be also required.
The ultrex...
Are you happy with the 52" shaft? i was next to a buddy with a ranger and the 206 was like i foot higher at the bow while in the water. He put the 45" on, so definitely felt the 52" is the correct...
Thanks for the input. there is room for another battery, just have to move stuff around a bit. cost is really not an issue since I'm already gonna spend well over $2000, whats a couple hundred more....
So if i make a track with the ipilot, how is it saved and how do i see it, to come back at a later date to follow the track? does it show up on the helix? I don't want to create a track necessarily...
Going to upgrade trolling motor this summer and trying to decide between link or non-link. I have helix 10 G2N's di and si.
If i create a track on google earth pro, then convert it and put it on...
I am going to update my trolling motor this summer and am trying to decide to either stay with the 24volt or upgrade to the 36volt minn kota ultrex. I have already decided to get the 52" shaft so the...
I replaced the red flow-rite drain valve earlier this spring with a new valve for the exact reason (leaking valve in closed position). Well, sometimes it still leaks and sometimes it don't. I agree...
My 2001 206 has just on off or open close livewell drain handle from flow-rite.
I don't believe there is any access panel under your carpet on the back deck. there is a 4" hole cut out behind my...
Nice! different look with the windshields.
Yes, I need to update both units to the current software update.
I finally finished the install of the bow mount helix 10 after receiving the trolling motor transducer from hummingbird and dealing with the rainy September weather we've had. I ran an all new wire...
