I think I have read that both units will have to have their own map card. Trying to learn about these units also. Maybe one of the other guys on here will get us both squared away on this.

Does the cable go from unit to unit? I have the network switch already. Thanks for sharing this I am new to all this and I find I am so confused.
My tranducer is located just like this one but on the opposite side. Does this mean I will have to relocate the transducer?
