Agreed, the only thing I think wasn't top notch on my boat. Not sure why they are so poorly designed.
I hear you about the gas mileage. I am truly amazed at how little gas that 60 hp takes and I run it a lot. I will just fill it up just to make sure the gauge is not stuck or giving a false reading.
