Not seeing many South Louisiana fishing reports lately ……
Too bad we don’t have anything like Lake Fork or Toledo Bend down here in south Louisiana. We can only dream ….
Will be interesting to see tournament results in the next few weeks. Basin level isn’t high and it’s the best time of the year for bass fishing . I’m not expecting to be impressed ….
They seem to have some water quality projects in the works. That will take a while however. They won’t restock though.
Thankfully Cliff Crochet’s “ Every Fish Matters “ benefit is supplying some...
No restocking for the future and no enforcement of the present. Can’t be but anything but bad.
Our basin is in a bad way right now. Not a lot of fish to be caught .
Wish South Louisiana had the fisheries that BASS and MLF fished this past week. We can only dream….
Maybe the new leader of LDWF should read this thread ….
There are some projects that they plan on doing to divert some river flow in the basin to improve water quality but could take a while.

LDWF has forgotten about the basin it seems . I see that fingerlings have gone to other places in the state but none below I 10. Even saw where they’ve given adult bass from OUR hatcheries to other...
Well we have a new leader of Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries. We need some mew blood there for sure ! Hopefully some good comes out of it for us…..
Ole Spillway just ain’t what it used to be. Don’t think they care anymore …..
Anyone have any tips on keeping an Atlas hydraulic Jackplate clean and shiny? Hard to keep that scum line off it by just wiping it down after getting the boat out of the water.
Overflow line can allow bad water in .
