magnets broken could make sense, as well as maybe some water intrusion. It is a constant chirp with each rotation of the prop, even when heading is fixed. The chirp only sounds at speeds between .5...
Hi Woody,
I would love to tune it, but it is an Ulterra, and I don't know how to activate the prop when it is the stowed position. I would deploy it, but even then the prop stubbornly won't...
I still have the squeak and it is getting worse. Nothing seems to be rubbing under the prop and I sprayed some water based silicone.. No difference.
Is there a way to open the trolling motor and...
Hi, I have a minnkota ulterra that is about 4 years old. Recently, when the prop speed is between 1, 1.5, or 2, I hear a rythmic chirp or squeak. It is somewhat quiet. What can I grease, or spray...
i found a way on the helix to make waypoint "groups". I haven't tested it yet, but it seems if i put a few waypoints in a group, then i can make that entire group visible or invisible with a few...
i like the idea of going directly over the object to mark for super accurate.
I see what you are saying, but to mark a rock, for example that is 50 feet off to the right in side imaging mode.. The unit would need to know which direction the boat is facing in order to...
yes, i know, but when i am travelling west it is +5, when travelling east -5.. so the offset correction would only make one better while make the other direction worse. The offset correction only...
cool. But is there a way to do something like that on the helix on the water? like select a-z, edit, visibility off
I noticed that you can put waypoints in categories. I also noticed you can make individual waypoints visible, or invisible.
Is it possible to en-mass change a particular category of waypoints...
I have a helix 10 si g2n. I often mark an interesting structure off to the side 50 feet using side imaging and cursoring over to the structure to create the waypoint. My question is does the helix...
always set the boat scale to smallest boat first. only use bigger boat size if needed. if you use too big a boat setting it will cause a lot of over correction and jumping around
Thanks!
Is there a way to hide all previous way points, but allow visibility for those created today?
I have 2 helix 10 si g2n and a ulterra with i-pilot link. I want to take a buddy out fishing but not give away my waypoints for competitive reasons :) Is there a way to hide the display of all...
I will give it a try
So i should be able to see fish just as easily in mega as in low freq side imaging? For example, if I switch to low frequency then suddenly I see bait balls all over the place, that I don't see in...
I've noticed that with di/si high frequency is good for structure. To see fish use the low frequencies. Some how the fish just really pop more in the low frequencies. Anyone else notice this?
cool
If i save a spotlock from i-pilot link controller it becomes a waypoint. Is that on both helixs?
just wanted to say more emphatically.. Thanks Wayne for answering. You are super helpful and really help keep this board going and accurate.
good to know. thanks.

It seems like "If you want a duplicate waypoint deleted, you have to delete...
I have 2 helix 10 g2n, and I have them setup to share waypoints which works great.
The problem I am having is when I want to delete a way point. If delete a waypoint on one unit, it just becomes a...
good point
anyone ever try rainX on the screen? I have not tried it. On my vehicle windshield water beads off so well i hardly ever have to use the wipers. Not sure if it would mess with antiglare, or...
