I'm looking to sell my flats boat and buy a bass boat. Definetly like some of the Skeeters, but don't know a whole lot about them.
Probably looking in the 2018-2022 yr range.
Are there any models...

Ha! You couldn't have mirrored my thoughts any better. I left the saltwater for the same reason and started doing the captain thing for my son in the junior/highschool tournaments and there were...
Where online would you all suggest to check for best selection of props?
What determines which thrust washer you should use? The engine, or the specific prop? I have a Bravo I and a custom prop built on a Trophy barrel.
Motor is a Yamaha SHO 250.

I had the same type of issue last year. Ended up being a cracked head gasket. Ended up with a new powerhead.
There is a tournament 6-9 on Thursday eve in and around Highlands Co.
What PSI do you guys typically see on your SHO's? I have a 250 SHO and it is usually between 10-15.
Welcome. I live in Lake Placid, born and raised, and have only fished Clay about 3 times. I have some friends that do pretty good there.
Yes. Picked it up Friday afternoon. Put about 1.5hrs of break-in time on it yesterday. Seemed to run good, but never got over about 3800.
My symptoms were similar to yours. Ended up being a head gasket and letting water in #4.
Well, I finally got the call last week that my new powerhead is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Hopefully back on the water next weekend.
I'm still waiting on my powerhead. I was originally told it would ship Feb 21.....then March 18.....then March 28......
2016 150 4 stroke, Bravo prop. What should the prop nut torque specs be?
It can be flashed to 330hp.
Replace the entire powerhead. That's good, but here I am waiting since early January. That's not good. I can't imagine if I used my boat to make my living.
I'm the original poster of this thread. I want to make it known that I don't have a cracked head. The dealer claims that it is just the head gasket that is leaking in the #4 cyl. Yamaha will not...
Just as the title asks.......I opted not to fish it, and have not heard anyone locally talking about it.
I try to let mine idle for a bit before shutdown, and definetly after a hard run.
