I know they make the pvs for the plus but didn't see it for the regular tempest.
Is there a vent kit for this prop? Prop blows out bad, won't get on plane. 21ft Cajun, 200 Venom. Normal prop is a 24 raker but turning too many rpm. Trying a 25 tempest in great shape but it...
Yeah, prop sits way too high on the shaft. Tried it and it blows out. Too much gap around the lu barrel and prop. Exhaust is leaking by with a force. What's the fix? I haven't checked it out...
Have xhs-II 200 for tempest prop on a 97 200 venom. The flat washer behind the nut, in between drive adapter cannot be used cause cotter pin hole will not show. Run without a washer here? Thanks.
Ranger bought them. Stratos bought Champ. Stratos is a very nice line, that was my last boat. Level your boat on flat ground (trailer). Trim motor down to level. Measure pad to ground, measure...
Photobucket is butchering my res so no pics. 40 gallons of gas is a Crap load of weight compared to my 20 but a 23 seems small. Should be able to turn a 24 at 5600 if you have a jack plate and can...
Mines red, I'll throw a pic up. Wet sanded and cleaned up nice. I'm turning 6200 rpm with 2 guys, livewells half, tanks half, and all gear with a 24 raker. 10 inch jackplate, 3" below pad, cool...
Long time no see. Sold the Stratos 6 years ago, got rid of the wife a year ago, have a new toy in the garage......back into fishing! Boats a 97 Cajun 205sc with a 97 200 venom. Had the 96 venom on...
It's rated for 225 and not a Travis edition. Nice boat, nice ride. Needs wet sand and polish on top cap. Going to run my back up renegade on it and send the raker out. Small crack on the ear,...
Just picked up a 97 205 with a 200 Venom. Was able to test drive before purchase, motor runs smooth. Only hitting 5500 rpm with a 24 raker, water is cold, temps were 70's. Guy said this is where...
I'd try to set it up w/ the 27 and see what you get. You should see mid to upper 60's w/ a tourny load but hard to tell, not sure on the weight of the older hulls(I prolly have one) RPM's might be...
20's on the truck and boat would look gooood. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/glasses.gif Gangsta http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
you should be able to turn that 24 past the max. rpm range(5600-5800) At the top of this Sratos forum is a sticky on measuring your prop to pad. I assume your way low....need to set it at 3.5 below...
Are these numbers w/ a full load or light load? My rig doesn't like a lot of weight(both livewells, all gear, and a few lard arses in the boat) Light loads at 3 1/2 below the pad and the thing...
I have 20's on my truck and the price of one tire is outrageous. I'd never get them again.
Isn't there a post for a seat on the floor? That's normally the drain.
my, what big motor ya have there! Looks great!
engine failure won't be covered and any other attempt is fraud and it screws everyone else. Wonder why insurance rates are so high. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif Keep running the...
It will not read if it's out of the water. Problem w/ skimmers on bass boats is they hardly ever work while running wot or even on plane. Most skimmers have the ability to shoot thru the hull. ...
yeah, they're only good for shoot thru. Problem I had trying to us a skimmer is that it would always come off the clips that are there for when you hit something. The speed of the boat against the...
if the oil is on the motor toter and you have problems shifting you may have bent the shift rod and the seals are shot. I'd get everything checked out and if you have insurance, let them know.
skimmers don't work on 50mph + boats. Going to need a shoot thru hull ducer. Your skimmer should be able to shoot thru correct?
my venom runs great after she's started the 1st time of the year. bet that helps out a lot don't it.. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
get it outta there! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif Here is a link to some usefull diagrams if you do decide to do it yourself. http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/...n.htm It'll help...
give us motor info....model # will get ya somewhere.
