I have a 25 pitch tempest plus on my 225 vmax Yamaha now and a friend has a 5 blade 4in hub with merc Flo- Torq hub kit with no trust washer, will it work as is ?

I am wanting more hole shot ....

I am running a Vmax 225,will that make a difference and it has the mercury flo-torq hub in it now
