My Falcon Lowrider 5-164 Spinnerbait Special that I bought in 2000 is still one of the first rods out of the locker. Most accurate casting rod I've ever used.
The fishing section of my Walmart doesn't have anything I want if they gave it to me, let alone steal it.
A Falcon Cara is $249 and the Expert is $199. I'll never need a rod better than those two.
I run a 17 year old Optimax so the list of worries is long. :ohwell:
I remember fishing a creek when another boater was leaving. He had just come up on plane when he hit something. Motor wouldn't...
Little or no wind screws with it head worse than a high wind.
I'll eat one of these red peppers that come in Kung Pao Shrimp, but they give me the hiccups. :embarassed:
I broke a Lowrider that was out of warranty and they determined that it was broken in an accident and not fighting a fish....they were right. I believe they charged me $55 to replace it. I love...
Doesn't everybody? :confused2:
I'm glad to learn that I'm not the only one who isn't lovin' the Curado DC. I thought I was doing something wrong.
I read on another forum where someone suggested jut putting it on 1 or 2 and...
I was curious what everyone's thoughts are about relocating the caliper to the top or 12 o'clock position. From the factory they came mounted on the trailing or 3 & 9 o'clock position. It makes...
I remember watching Joe Krieger when I was a kid. Seems like he was always at Lake Oolagah. I had the impression that Oolagah was some sort of fishing paradise.
I have one of those trigger gun type vacuum pumps with a catch bottle. Should work okay. I learned the last time that the success of this job is very dependent on the attention span of the person...
I got to shake hands with Hank Parker at the Classic yesterday. I told him that he's the man who taught me how to tie. a Palomar knot when I used to watch him on the old Nashville Network. He was my...
Toughest day of my life.
I did a dumb thing...When re-packing my wheel bearings I could tell that one of my calipers was locked up and the other wasn't looking too good. Stupidly, I made the decision that since they weren't...
This is what I did too. At first I had all my transducer and M-360 cables run together but got interference. Took the cables out and wrapped them in a different type of wrap similar to what we now...
I'll watch until basketball come on.
I was wishing that there had been some way to meet up with some BBC'ers. We all look the same.
I always liked the Pillbury Hungry Jack Buttermilk instant pancakes that are mixed with water. I like my pancakes thinner than the recipe calls for so the water makes it easier to do that. They all...
I don't like my DC 150 very much. It's the most backlashing reel I own. I've set it up just the way it's supposed to be and still it woofs up at the most unpredictable times. I just cut my last spool...
I used to do Home & Garden and Homebuilder shows for Formica and Tarkett. You get numb to it all after the first day of one of those. I went for a few hours yesterday. It was a madhouse there. I...
I saw the preview and thought it must be a satire spoof of the original cinematic achievement.
There's always a lot of gasping and pearl clutching when anything new and innovative comes along.
I wish it worked for me. No matter how I try my Curado DC 150 is the worst backlasher in the box. I just cut out a whole spool of fresh Invizx.
