About 70% of the lakes here are soft bottom I figure that may play a role in my results also

Ok I must've been using too heavy of a weight at 1/2 oz since I've been fishing from the bank lately. I'll have to get some different sizes and go out in the boat to see it perform at its best.

Mainly just let it barely tick the bottom on a steady retrieve ??

ive been using 7ft med heavy with a bps 7.1 pq and 1/2 oz look alike rig in most of the times I've used it. Only caught a few fish so far and there aren't many places here with rocky bottoms but...

I looked all the way to the solenoids and found nothing wrong could it be the switch bad ?

this is how it was in the picture before I lowered the trailer tongue and motor more.

Lol it's level but I wasn't. The motor wasn't all the way down on that pic I had to drop the front of the trailer more to clear the skeg.

I have a 98 mercury 200 efi that keeps blowing the fuse on the side of the block when I use the trim while running down the lake. Only does it while the boat is in motion. It started doing this after...

I got sk finesse 3/8oz but no luck on em so far. Paint holds up ok for pickwick but I still don't get why my 3/4 oz still catch more fish where this one doesn't.
