I've been using the Expride Light+ the last couple seasons for throwing hair jigs. I can launch 1/16 maribou jig a good ways with 8lb braid and a 6lb fluorocarbon leader...and the rod handles 5lb...

As some of the guys above have said, makes a good tube rod, smaller ballhead swimbait rod, or even a great wacky rig/ neko rig rod.
