That remaining set of motor mount holes will gain you 3/4" if I remember right.
With that said, it still won't get you in the zone you need to be - if you're measuring things out correctly...
Not familiar with the Faria gauges but I'm suspecting it may be the round "plug" partially obscured by the double black wires (daisy-chain ground wire), blue wire (hot) and the retaining bracket. I...
Okay, I understand now .

Along with cleaning connections connections, there is a rotary switch on the back and marked with a number of "P" positions. BEFORE moving the switch,...
Speedo works from pressure/vacuum from petit tube, only power to it is for lights.
H20 pressure works on water pressure from motor when running.
No reason for either to budge when key is turned to...
Have a hard time picturing a 3yoa casting a 4.5' 2x4 but I'm sure there's a plan that nobody here is seeing. As noted, likely a hard find but good luck.
Always pays off to go a little slow 'n cautious at first, huh? Plus asking questions is free! Glad to hear it was simple 'n painless. :thumb up2:

Glad to hear it. Bet that makes you feel much better on the deal! :nanner:

That right there.
I find it amusing that people insist that they gotta use oem stickered oil in their motor 'cause the manufacturer recommends it (and makes a nice $ off it) but the tire...
It's not all about pan/tank clearance. There's tank connections, hoses, senders 'n wiring. Punching a screw thru anyplace other than original holes has the potential for encountering unknown unseens...

Never heard of that manufacturer but this link shows as much for your #s https://boathistoryreport.com/?id_type=hin&identifier=gsy018110283#. Says the manf id (gsy) is shared also with real ships...
I think you're thinkin' "245", not 225 - never saw 225 on a 201. Mine's a '95 which is rated 245 which is pretty useless rating.
In either case, the difference in XL versus PRO XL is just minutia...
Key to finding your right spot is temporary mounting. Velcro or double-sided tape is your friend. What may be interference-free at idle may not be at higher rpms.
Can't say for certain regarding N+ but on my Platinum cards, they load/update whole region at a time - as opposed to as much or as little as I like on my USA/Canada N+ card.
Sorry can't be more...
need a safe space?
no
Offhand, maybe 15-20. But....most of those are 1 gallon bags. :confused2:
Problem here is, they're not "2 standard cables" - they're 2 proprietary connectors (Lowrance brand connectors). Have never came across a back-to-back female/female Lowrance Ethernet connector. Units...
