Why would he need the adapter? In post #1 he said the TM150 works perfectly.
Do you have Network Sonar turned on?
Sounds like that unit might have an issue. One more thought...set up your good unit (bow) the way you want it. Now
save the settings to a card and try importing to the other unit, essentially...
Could try reverting back to prior sw version. See if it works as it should. Then, if you desire, download a fresh copy of the latest version
to a clean card and install again.
You should check to see that your HDI 'ducer on channel 1 is set to Generic 83/200. This will
shut off the Downscan ping from that 'ducer. You can not have two sources of Downscan.
AI 2-in-1 will...
I think I know what you mean. It doesn't give you the option to add depth? Press pages and select one of the default "favorites" if there is one you haven't used yet. Depth should appear
on those...
3 dashes usually means Data Source issue. If so, easy fix. Settings > Network > Data Sources > Sonar > Depth >
check box HDS 7 Live This Device. As far as identifying your transducer, the silver tag...
What software version are you running? Some Gen3 had sonar issues similar to what you describe while running the last (18.2) version.
Many reinstalled 7.0 to solve the issue.
Did you check fuse in the NMEA Power Node? Power Node, antenna, and head units connected to the "leg" of each T? Terminator at each end
of backbone. While head units are often wired direct to crank...
BTW, the Vessels you see under Settings is different. Pretty sure that's for AIS.
Got some assistance from my neighbor today. He has Elite Ti2 but has never had Point-1 or a NMEA. I checked his Data Source Selection and Vessel did NOT appear.
He let me hook it up in my boat...
Did you go into Network > Data Sources and under GPS make sure the Ti2 is using the Auto Point-1 and not the internal antenna? Also in the Vessel menu, Heading should be set
to Point-1.
Did you do a Mounting Angle Calibration after the service work?
Unknown is not right for 'ducer selection. 3 in 1 needs to be plugged into channel 2, the black connector, and the unit should
Auto recognize it. You can double check this in the Sonar installation...
Your units are running version 18.2. Best thing to try now is revert back to version 7.0. If you search this forum you'll find
threads on this issue and a link to v7.0.
Also, you say your network shows a Point-1 and a 4000? Should not be a need for both. Keep the Point-1. Tell each unit (or just the mapping units for sure) to
use Heading info from the Point-1.
There was only one version of 18.2 for Gen3. It was 18.2 xxx 142. Had some freeze issues. 7.0 is a good one.
Do a search for Shading. Then look for a thread that was started on Aug 21, 2019...C-MAP Shading. Might be what you are looking for.
NMEA is fine between Carbon and Gen 2. My Carbons share a Point-1 with a Gen 2 on NMEA network.
If using the internal antenna, go to settings, Network > Data sources > GPS, tap on GPS and select Auto.
If using a puck antenna, it will also be listed and you could choose it. Your choice.
Did you touch Enter when done naming?
It comes with v7.0 (the link above). After install you can turn it on/off from the side menu.
What software version in your Carbon? If it's 19.1 xxx 153, it may not play well with HDI nosecone on Ghost. Hopefully next update corrects HDI issue.
In the mean time you could try 19.1 xxx 114 or...
Your freezing issue most likely is coming from the 18.2 in your Gen3. It effects some Gen3. Roll back to 7.0 if you still have trouble.
