I have a z21 with merc 250 and a 12" Bob's Hydraulic jackplate, getting a rough ride and a lot of porpoising, can someone suggest a good starting height with the jackplate?

Are Z21 all Composite Transoms or is there wood in the transom or stringers or else Where?

Is 670 hours on 20 250 4 stroke, hours to be concerned about ?
