The last setting change that finally worked for me, after doing the above suggestions was go to

I have a mix of Helix Gen2, Gen3, and gen4.
I experienced incessant ML freezing when I added the Gen4.
If I exclude the Gen4 from running the ML I do not get freezing(unchecked under source tab.) ...

Check your transducer selection and be sure it includes Mega 360.

Did you redo the transducer selection again after the default reset?

From what I recall, my Helix used to remember fuel used and you manually reset.
When I switched to stand alone NMEA 2k gauges for fuel management , I needed to add this memory device.

Yamaha connects to NMEA backplane.
NMEA backplane connects to 12v power and HB NMEA ethernet device(AS-ETH-NMEA2K)
HB NMEA ethernet device connects to HB 5 port switch.

Sounds like you've narrowed it down to a faulty SD card.
Are the suspect cards a microSD inside an SD adapter? If so try another adapter.

I will say it's a combination issue with Gen4 Helix, MegaLive, and possibly Mega360 mix.

Are you getting depth reading below 5mph?
If yes, then your high speed needs height adjusting or a different location.

In my case I swapped a Helix 10GG3N for a Helix 10 G4N at the same location, same cables, power wires etc.
Been using the ML on the G3N for months and didn't have the freezing issue like the G4N...

It's definitely a network reset of some sort when the ML freezes.
I'm using 2 switches and the ML and Ulterra are connected to the same front switch.
I would suspect the front switch is resetting...

Assuming there is a heading sensor installed, you can adjust HEADING OFFSET.
