A picture is worth a 1000 words. The vertical lines sound like interference. What was your range set at on the mega when you were not seeing anything? How deep were you?
Not a traditional bass boat. But I do catch a few bass from it.

Low 40s is when we start getting them.
Goretex that fits you well is hard to beat. After a few years you usually need to renew it in the dryer or reapply the DWR.
Solix and Helix have the same sonar. The 3 in 1 doesn't look bad. But it's range is at 30 or 40 feet. That pretty short.
lol, it at least it doesn't confirm it.
Jldean I understand your frustration. Garmin's sidescan will find structure but even a $4000 8612xsv won't mark fish with sidescan. Lowrance is a little better and their newest active imaging looks...
Have you tried setting your frequency ranges manually? I know a few frequencies up or down and regular 2D transducers won't cross talk. I've never tried it with imaging frequencies but I imagine it's...
BBW any pictures of yours not working? Are you sure DI and SI were enabled?
Colder water reduces range on sonar. I was at 10 on brightness. I'm sure I could have gone to 20 and seen much further. It was not a maximum range test. It was just a comparison of the two...
Brian you can adjust how far you see with settings changes. These settings were right out of the box and hardly optimized. I don't think 120' in shallow 38 degree water was ever obtained without...
I had the opportunity to run my boat with a Mega transducer (710268-1) connected on the port side and a Mega+ transducer (710292-1) on the starboard side. They go to a Y cable and then into my Solix...
Looks like the links are dead.
No it won't.
What fishing are you doing that the B75M is your top choice? I would get a G2 with SI on one side and a CHO hooked to the B75M on the other side. Run charts/2D on the CHO.
I made this video to help people identify a hard bottom using just their traditional 2D sonar.

Can you run a GT51M and a B60 at the same time using a 7610xsv? It has a dual channel chirp transducer, but I'm struggling to run a 3 way sonar split with 50/200/medium chirp. I can select one then...
All they are saying is 1st quarter.

Mike how does the Smartcraft take information in? The AS GPS HS is NMEA 0183. Solix does not have NMEA 2000 output.
