I believe close to 200 is doable. I mean they had a 2.5 200 and this is also a 2.5
i heard using a 200 exhaust tuner and better reeds should give is 10-15 hp more. But not sure what else to do.

What year was your other 721. Pre 14 or 15 had a different lower unit and were also a bit more horsepower. Mercury lowered the HP on the newer ones to be a more true 250
