The interference is there all the time, even with the TM unplugged.
Ok, I connected it to another battery separate from the trolling battery and get the same results. I don't know a great deal about these things but what would happen if I did a settings default?
Ok, I have a Lowrance Hook2 4X that I bought from my brother. It worked perfectly on his boat but he upgraded and sold me this one. I have it wired to the trolling battery and the transducer mounted...
I have an older Lowrance X-4 Pro and I don't know why I never noticed this before but it will not hold the manual settings I put in, such as depth range. I realize this is one of the cheaper units...
Thanks tj. I checked the Troubleshooting like you suggested. I think it may be due to how I have the settings set. I'll check them tomorrow. Thanks again.
I have a Lowrance X4-Pro and cannot get it to mark fish arches. Only if I set it to show the little fish symbols will it show anything except bottom depth and contour. What am I doing wrong?...
Yep...that's what I thought. Thanks CatFan.
Am I correct that this is wired in series? I'm pretty sure mine are wired in parallel....positive to positive...negative to negative.
Thanks guys.
This is probably a stupid question but I don't want to screw something up. I have two 12 volt trolling batteries wired parallel...doubling the amperage but not the volts. I want to get a 2 bank...
Remembered rods...forgot tackle box.
Did someone say Bluegrass??? My kinda music!!! Been playing rhythm guitar since 4th grade when my Grandmother started teaching me. Love my Bluegrass!!!
Hello. It's been quite a while since I last posted anything here. Haven't had a lot of fishing time. I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Big D trolling motor handle from Bob's Marine...
The rope deal really does work great. I was trying to decided the best way to launch mine when I saw a guy use a rope tied to the boat cleat and the other end tied to the trailer. Some people loop...

I've been running nothing but ethanol free gas in my outboard treated with Seafoam. I've still got about 3 1/2 gals left in the tank and a couple gals in a can that's treated with Seafoam. I doubt...
I've got a Battery Tender Jr. that I use for the cranking batt and lawn mower. This hard to get to batt that I've got is wired in parallel with another batt in the back of the boat and according to...
I thought about this but wasn't sure if I'd have to insulate around the bolts to keep them from shorting out against the metal in the boat itself. But....if I mounted the bolts thru the wooden deck...
One of my batts is in a very hard to reach place making it a pain to get to thus making it a pain to charge everytime. Is there any way to run extender cables from the battery post to someplace easy...
Yeah, I found this too while surfing the net. A lot of useful info in this article. Thanks.
I've got a '86 Grumman Challenger I bought from a "buddy" a couple years ago. It came with a Mariner 30hp outboard that I can't use on local lakes so I bit the bullet and bought a Yamaha 9.9 for it....
I pulled both batts out today and took them to auto parts store and had them checked. One showed 12.93 volts, the other showed 12.89. However both of them showed more CCA than the batteries are...
I've read that a fully discharged 12 volt batt is down to 11.5 - 11.8 volts. If that is fully discharged, what happens to the remaining voltage? Sorry I'm so ignorant on this.
