Not a 100% positive on this, but I don't think you can do that. I think I've read on the Garmin site that only the regular G3 maps can be loaded into internal memory, not the G3 Ultra maps, they can...

Hey Todd, in your post above, can you expand on what "unless any other MFD is actively using their sonar as a source" means? Is it only when you have a sonar screen displayed that has the...
Just wondering if you purchased one of these. If so, how'd it work out?
Thanks for the reply. I'm just looking for the best place to access the wire for a start isolation line for an ACR/Switch combo that I am installing. The wire is entirely sheathed into the...
I'd rather not get spanked! Thanks for the warning.

Are you referring the ground wire that's part of the external power adapter line or a separate ground wire? Thanks a bunch.
Is there any benefit at all of hooking my motorguide Xi5 up to my NMEA network if I'm running Garmin chartplotters?
Thanks for the info. So if I understand correctly, if you hook this harness to a power source and then connect the mercmonitor to your NMEA network via the gauge's NMEA harness, the network draws...
I have a one year old 150 four stroke with a mercmonitor level one gauge. I'm looking at hooking it to a simple NMEA 2000 network to show the available engine data. The gauge has a "external power"...
I have a 1 year old boat with a 150 4 stroke on it. It has a side remote throttle/trim control on it labeled as a RC 881170A14. I need to get access to the start wire. Does anyone know if there is...
Just a heads up. Basspro still has the echomap plus 93sv with the gt52 and g3 maps for $599.97.
Plus if you use the Ebates/Rakuten cash back site, you will get 15% cash back right now. The $90...
For maps, the "93" models have the US lakevue maps while the "94" models have the bluechart (ocean) maps. So if you fish lakes I believe you would want a 93 version of either the plus or UHD model.
Do you put grease on the pins or just around the perimeter of the connector?
Thanks for your input.
For just 2D is the GT50 or GT54 better in your view? Likewise for just downview, is the GT50 or GT54 better?
That's when I like to drag a big line of "cowbells" right through them and hope it pisses them off enough to bite.
With the LVS32 having both a "forward" and "down" mode, I could switch up how I'm using it depending on what type of fishing I'm doing though?
If I planned on trolling or jigging one day, I...
Thanks for taking the time for that write up.
So with 2d, down view, or side view, the "bottom" is the depth that is hit first in the "cone", whether it is the top of a boulder or the highest...
Thanks for all the replies everyone. Bear with me, as my sonar ignorance will probably have me asking the wrong question quite often.
I am convinced I want the PS30, but I'm still very unsure...
You are correct!
I have a 21' aluminum boat in which I mainly fish lake trout in 50' to 100' trolling and jigging, and kokanee 20' to 50' trolling.
I've read way to many threads and my head is spinning a bit, but...
