How much of a difference did it make on that 225?
The sticky thread about xb mods says that the 225 heads cannot be cut enough to make a difference. Is that true? Or can they be cut to 61 cc ?
Torch will melt them right out. Replace with brass plugs available at most marinas
Anyone tried using some of that trek or other synthetic deck material?
That's what I wanted to hear! I've got a 250 xb fuel on the way now to find the 300 ign. With hat in hand I ask,anybody got one for sale? And should I get new heads or fool with getting my stock 225...
Oh they cried like a baby! But wouldn't come out of pocket even half of the cost of the foot.got better coverage with statefarm and I'm saving money! I don't know how it will go with them only time...
What about doing all this to a motor that has 300-400 hours on it? Wouldn't that make it more likely to "blow"?
Did you do the cowling mod? I wonder if it takes the combo of the 250xb and the 300 ECU to get better results?
