Thanks guys, I will delete my waypoints in my units and see if this helps. The waypoints don't mean much to me after a few hours/or a day anyway since I'm chasing pelagic fish on lake Ontario.
This problem started happening on 4.190. I updated (in hopes of fixing this) to 4.210 yesterday and the problem persists. Pictures attached.
My one SOLIX 12 keeps dropping out of the network....
I have 3 Optimum Downriggers on the transom. Everything networked with the One Boat Network. However, the only time we use the functionality through the SOLIX is to mess with people. I spend my day...
I know you guys are mostly Bass guys, and at one point in my life I did the Bass boat thing, but I've settled into chartering on Lake Ontario for Salmon and Trout. I've done it since I was 5yrs old....
Thanks SLY
Hey guys, I'm in the process of wiring up my "new to me" charter boat for Lake Ontario. My last boat had 4 SOLIX, a radar, and MEGA Live all networked on the original Ethernet hubs. The new boat will...
Sodus Bay, NY might be a drive, but we do a lot of electronic installations here at Krenzer Marine. We're also NMEA2K certified.
I started with the one you have pictured. It works well. I bought the drill adapter winder a few years later. I don't use that one much unless I'm doing a lot of trolling reels.
This may be a bit much, but I have this. It works well, but I'm filling trolling reels.

On the Great Lakes for the Salmon, Trout, and Walleye trollers you still can't beat the image you get with traditional sonar. 600w 50/200 is still the choice for most anglers. Lots of Airmar B60's up...
I sent in two SOLIX units on a Tuesday. They showed back up the following Saturday. That was with Memorial Day in there. Shipped UPS Ground from NY.

Every charter business is different. For example my brother and I, both licensed captains, run the boat together 90% of the time. Everything earned goes into the same account and all the expenses...
Wayne, when I said "That HB HW transom mount is OK, but not as good as the Airmar P66." I meant the coverage. Not so much the performance.
For trolling go with the P66. CHIRP transducers have narrower cone angles and most Great Lakes trollers like to see their cannonballs. The problem is you can't run a Y cable with a 50/200 and a MEGA...

You're going to have to run it to the Ethernet Hub.
For 3/4 of the season were in less than 250' of water, but fishing in the top 75'.
Looking forward to mounting this on the transom of my charter boat to view downriggers and dipsey divers while Salmon and Trout fishing on Lake Ontario. Guys running the PS30 transducer are using the...
Thank you. I have posted there as well.
I have a Garmin 93sv in the dash. It came with a GT56, which we mounted on the jackplate using a transducer shield mount. Customer brought it back becasue at high speeds he would lose bottom...

FYI....I'm running 3.980 on SOLIX G2's and have no issues with connectivity of my Optimum Downriggers.
