Thanks everyone for the input!
Thanks for the reply, but I can't install the transducer like the video shown. I don't have a flat surface next to the drain plug or enough space. There is an awkward curvature there that is...
Don't know if I'm posting in the correct forum, but I need some advice where I should mount my 3-in-1 Transducer.
I have some photos here on imgur. I have two positions where I'm using the stern...
that’s a custom boot screen right there....
I think I figured out how to change the boot screens on the units...
It's all embedded in the software you download from Lowrance. You can extract it using 7zip software. Inside there is a file...
this right here... omg I had a 29lb Evinrude and it was terrible.... thanks for the info!
Thanks, I think I will stick with the trolling motor :). You convinced me.
Thanks everyone for the input, I think I might sell this unit and get a shorter shaft, a 45" one instead. the 54" is just too long for my boat. The original Envinrude TM I had was a 38" shaft so...
I saw this, only question I have though is when it's in stowed mode and I'm traveling is the motor forward or back? Do you have one? Mind if you post some pictures on your install?
Thanks for the advice, seems as though I will have to drill new holes, but the holes are so up forward it's very difficult for me to reach the bow even with my whole arm in the storage area. How did...
Hello fellow Champion owners! (Especially the Mean16 ones)
I purchased a new Motorguide trolling motor about a year ago, haven't had time to work on my boat due to work and travel but it's been...

My mean16 runs about 55mph to 58mph with just me and a 40lb puppy... and some gas... :D
Fully loaded she gets about 50mph with a full tank and someone else with me....
Hmmmm!
Thanks for the suggestions!!
That is a nice Mean 16, just like mine, minus the fancy additional equipment.... :D
Yup.
Upgrading my battery charger and the screw holes do not match so I'm left with some small holes, just wondering what to use to cover these holes basically.
Does any have any experience with the SeaStar hydraulic steering? Is it worth the upgrade? Did it make steering smooth out in the water?
I've been watching YouTube videos on it and it looks...
So I am doing some spring cleaning and decided to replace both of my batteries and upgrade my charger in my Mean 16 at the moment. I find out the batteries these days are a little bit bigger and a...
I think it has to do with the weight distribution on the trailer. I will have a play with it this weekend and see how it goes.
You know I thought about retro fitting some shocks on the trailer at one point but I don't know how difficult that would be.
Someone suggested a turn buckle as well.
LMAO!
Well, I am an Engineer and I have been finding out as in why my trailer bounces on the road and ultimately I found this rather nice webpage on the net on how to calculate proper weight distribution...
