I would roll with it. However, I would check oil and oil condition, pull lower gear case drain screw and check for water and excess metal on magnet. Also keep an eye on your water pressure gauge. ...

I think most likely your just being more aware because of slamming on the brakes. Like said before if they where really dragging to much then they would be too hot to touch!

Never have an issue with my 2015 ZX 250 as long as I trim down BEFORE slowing down to come off plane.
I ALWAYS use bait casting equipment for neko rig and senko fishing! I use clear silicone band and have absolutely no issues.
