Mine does that or similar sometimes also. After some rest it works normal again, but I'm afraid it will soon become completely useless. Warranty is expired, so I gues that means a new unit.

The thing to consider is: if you want fishreveal on sidescan, you'll need the 3100 anyway.
The advantage of the pro is really "just" the ability to connect 2 AT2 and display them on one picture as...
I have a panel with some switches and put the yellow wire of AT to one of theses switches. The Power for AT goes directly to the box without switch.
Could be overheating, Iv'e had that happen. I'm not sure if it's an intentional shut down caused by a heat sensor or just a heat related malfunction, but after a short rest the unit will work again.
I've seen 90 days delivery time (in a german shop). We all know it's an estimate, but unlikely to be any sooner than that.
My feeling is, that most of the processing for active target happens in the box, so I'd connect the box to the carbon and use the live with directly connected transducers.
Yes, I'm also very disappointed at that.
2 Reasons not to do it: a) the price, b) having to install another module (already got the AT1).
So I think I won't be upgrading anything in a while.
I'm hoping the new module is just for the 2 x at2 functions like the 270° scout etc.
But yes, soon we will know more. Maybe tomorrow.
Makes me wonder, what "older models" means in this context. As a Live owner I was hoping to get away with just a new transducer, I'm not ready to pay and install another box on my boat.
So the "full upgrade" for live owners would be 1 or 2 AT Transducers and the new 3in1 (or 2in1)?
Will it be possible to connect 2 AT transducers to the old box?
I think the processing is just a bit slow.
I can feel the strike of a fish before I see it hitting the lure.
I'd like to see smart glasses which seemingly project the signal directly on the water.
No more pointing the transducer and staring at the screen trying to see you lure.
Just look on the water,...
Yep, that's what I do. I use the standard blue dot for all temporary waypoints and delete them in batch.
Actually Instead of quicker "stop sonar" access I'd be even happier with an option "automatically stop all sonars that are not on screen and start them if they are on screen".
Mine are always on, best way to get within casting distance to a target or to define next anchoring point when I search by hopping spots.
I thought in Europe it will just use EGNOS instead of WAAS.
Iv'e seen a test where Scout mode was superior in deeper water. They did say it dependend on the actual angle of the mounting. So if you can tilt it a bit you might be able to bring both in a good...
Yep, actually it is. My bad.
But even if it where %: 20% is still roughly 10%(exactly 9%) more than 18%.
I once tilted mine in the wrong direction for forward view and then was missing a portion of the returns.
Next thing should be trolling motor where the transducer moves independently from the motor head.
Well scout mode will look a lot different from forward or down. You should be able to tell the difference easily just by looking at the picture.
I'm waiting for the augmented reality glasses where you "see" the fish and your lure in the water at any depth.
I stop the down/sidescan but keep the 2d. When I'm fishingt vertical I like to see 2D and AT in parallel. Also it seems my 2d ( Airmar TM150M ) doesn't interfere with the AT, while the scanning does.
I like AT for vertical fishing. I use it togehter with 2D as split-screen.
