Just curious what provokes boat companies to change designs or try something new.
Is it input from the pro's or enough from the average joes like this forum?

Pretty neat to me to see some ideas thrown around.
I have often talked about having the consoles moved in maybe 8" just enough to give room at the gunnels to walk around. Sort of like the Big O...
Buddy and I got to discussing this the other night and just got me curious as to what everyone thinks or would want.
Would you change or design a new inside/deck layout if you could? If so what...
Just feel with the right amount of input for tour level pro's this could be something. There is a local aluminum boat builder that builds a bass boat with a CC. Few that he has built have never came...
Just seems if it was well laid/thought out this could work in the bass fishing world. Maybe im wrong (as the wife tells me all the time) just seems like it would be better than normal side console.
Why is there not one on the market that people like? Or is there?
I know Nitro had one for a little time period but have always wonder why not other brands. Think the Big O is a style like this...
I live about 8 miles from the launch. Fish the river weekly and I would venture to bet the weights will be around 12-15# a day to win. Catching fish won't be a problem just will fish small once again...
I like the Bobs better. Just my opinion
River is going to fish a little different. We got close to 5" of rain last night down here and Toledo now has 11 gates open. River should be high this time around for the tourney
WOW!!!
Glad you are ok and safe.
On the flip side, I woke up in Nigeria this morning to a notice that my flight had been delayed out of Lagos for 10hrs due to the flight the night before...
Anyone ever seen one of these in use? Curious to how good they are and if this would eliminate some travel trailer issues(roughness).

Holiday Inn off the interstate in Orange, or I would stay in Beaumont somewhere (probably better off). Beaumont is 25-30 minutes away own the interstate, lot bigger, more choices to stay, better ad...
Garrison Brothers in Texas. Some dang fine stuff. Little whiskey and ice is all a man needs
Read he took a huge pay cut at that. was around $1.2 million at Alabama and now contract is around $600k at FAU. Seems like LSU would have been a pay raise
Cant remember what my old 294 had and was wondering if it needs to be top or side load. If side load I am thinking the cable would come out and run down the side a little bit. (would be noticeable I...
76 Champ- what brand did you go with, plastic or metal?
Wanting to put a recessed foot pan up front on my 294. Anyone done one? Little hesitant cutting the front deck. Worried I will loose the deck strength
with Bass throwing in a different format tourney the last couple of years how about throwing in something for the top 30 or so. Mystery lake and boat provided. Let the boat be a tin rig with a 90 or...
Good for him. He will catch just as many fish as he did before. Its not the boat that catches the fish correct?
Truth be told I would like to see all the pros run something different besides the...
Have built a couple of these for other people. Built the first one in 2001 and at that time the owner mentioned he had issues getting insurance. Last one owner never mentioned any issues as this is...
Looking around for other props and was wondering if anyone has experience with an OT4 on a 294.
Thanks
I was a little on the fence about it, but had a shoulder issue for years after a motorcycle wreck. (basically muscle over worked itself in the shoulder to neck causing a severe burning pain). Had...
Thanks guys, all good information to know
Wife and I with 4 yr old and toddler. Possibly Paw in-law and Momma in-law as well
Looking to take a vacation there this summer. Was wondering if anyone has been, any tips? And as well anyone know of some nice cabins up in the mountains? Maybe secluded a bit if possible?
Thanks...
