Thanks guys
I recently purchased a 520L with a proXS 4s merc on it. I’ve owned several bass boats but this is my first ranger. Just looking for a general starting point. I have several different props I can try...
My v20 leans a little to port side sometimes. All has to do with the wheight distribution. I'm about 220, if it's just me sits pretty level put a co angler in, that's my size it will lean because of...
3 batteries on the left one on the right.
I had cracks in my v20 and they fixed them. A few have returned, nothing mayor, just top coat cracks. Every bassboat i have owned has cracked sooner or later. That is a fairly common spot for a boat...
I tried one on my v20/sho combo. It worked ok, had better results with a fury. I do have two friends that run them, one on a skeeter and one on a ranger. They love them. Only way to find out is try....
I'm getting 68-69 at 6050rpm with the 24 fury. I ran a t1 for awhile, like the fury better. Gets on plane quicker and actually carries a load better. Believe it or not. The t1 was fast until I fill...
I run a 24 fury on my v20 with a sho. I see my best performance at 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 prop to pad depending on how heavy I'm running.
Yes it will. I have a v20, but there are a couple 211's and 199's in my neck of the woods with fortrex's on them
Yes the 2 piece will keep the prop from ever contacting the lower unit. I have used both kits and had the single thrust washer one allow the prop to contact the gear case. The two pice kit was...
If you have the kit that is specifically for the sho. You need to separate the existing thrust washer that is on there for your t1 prop. They can get stuck together pretty good. Leave the bottom part...
No, the fury has a larger diameter hub. You need to use thrust washer with kit. What kit did you get, the one that utilizes the two pice thrust washer or single thrust washer?
I have ran a bravo 1fs on my v20/sho and it does great! It's a 25p. Holeshot and handling are the best by far, my 24 fury is a little faster on top end.
Try dropping your motor, furys like to run deep.
Try a 25.5p bravo 1xs. You will be amazed at the difference in hole shot and handling. I run one on my v20. Little slower on top end then the fury, unless you have it croxtonized!
I have a friend with that set up and his best performer has been a 24 fury. I would try the 25
Yes it will work. Will not work with lithium batteries though.
Thanks guys. I ran a 25p tempest plus and it turned too many rpm's, 6200-6300. I could bring them down by dropping my hydro plate. But had to have it 4" ptp and it was too deep. Boat started to get...
I'm running a 25p bravo 1 fs and getting 6000-6100rpm with my 250sho. What pitch fury would keep me in that same rpm range?
I run a 250 sho on a legend v20. It likes to be vented, I have run a brovo1, fury, and t1 all vents wide open.
Thanks, can't get the link to open up though. My dealer gave me a hub for a bravo1 I got. I think it's the wrong one though. The base of the prop has worn a small grove in the inside of my lower...
What flo-torque hub kit do I need to run a fury and bravo on my 250sho? I believe it has a 2 piece thrust washer. Thanks
