you probably need to update to 18.2
They recommend it,
Do you have latest software in that unit?

Does the stuff all over the screen happen, when you press on the tm Pwr. on the foot pedal
FYI, you maybe getting interference from your tm...check your prop and make sure there's not a bunch nicks, take prop off and make sure the pin is not bent and the shaft from hitting things..also it...
First which hook unit do you have now and what transducer? Pic's would be great on what you have....If you have the new HOOK2 with the small black Pwr cord...You need make sure you line it up...
what brand of boat and did the factory install them.
is your LiveSight up to date to?
I would call Lowrance CS dept and since you mention its around 2 years old...It might be under warranty still...What year is your boat and did it come with this unit?
Turn on the unit and unplug the live sight transducer and then plug it back in.. See if you get it to initialized on the screen, if so wait 1 or 2 mins. (on the live sight panel screen)
Like someone mention above overlay your voltage and see what it drops when you turn the other unit on. Also what size battery and how old is it?
first what unit do you have? Also, before you lift your tm out of the water...put your unit in stop sonar and then take the tm out and when you get to next spot, just uncheck stop sonar. That...
I would check your nmea pwr fuse and maybe unplug the connection from the motor and wait few mins and then plug it back in.
Do you see the Yahama on your nmea device list?
First I would back up your wpts on a sd card 32g or less... Then you can try go into menu and under sonar and select sonar default...If Then if that doesn't work I would try either soft or hard reset.
The 3D transducer does have a temp sensor inside it...Go into your overlay and go under sonar and the scroll down to temp and then look far right on the screen and then hit the arrow down and then...
Whats your voltage and amps going to the unit? Jim
Bill, I sent you a pm. thanks Jason
The Lss-2 might fit, its been a while for me
check your prop for nicks and take the prop off and make sure there's no line or prop shaft or pin is not bent. This also could be coming from your armature inside your tm.
I would think it might be a ground issue then.
