Finally got back in town and picked up boat. Unit was pressure tested, vacuum tested and checked run-out on prop shaft. The cause of the problem was a leak around an O-ring according to the mechanic....

Tried to get in touch with the mechanic today but haven't had any luck. Am going to be traveling through next Thursday so I'll carry it in when I get back in town and post results from pressure test...

I have an 07 285 and really like the boat. It fishes well and the only complaint I have is Jason saying low 60's. You can check out my other posts but I can run pretty much any time I want to 65.
