I use the center compartment purely for tackle, and all rods go in side compartments.

Check AMPD Marine, I grabbed the center compartment organizer for my ZX250 late last year. So far I love it, will see if that persists this year.

Similarly, is there a way to order these steps anywhere (maybe from Skeeter)? The other aftermarket steps have poles and I prefer not to have the pole.

Aside from the Day box, I also ordered and installed the side organizers for the center compartment - can't believe I've been living without for year, what a difference! I don't use the center...
