I don't have the boat at home yet. Just bought it and it's still in storage for a while.

So I called Mercury today and I was told the XR6 Racing will have a higher RPM range than a regular XR6. Thus allowing for a higher pitch prop. Other than that they are the exact same motor.

2004 Mercury 150 XR6

So I bought a boat with a 150 Merc XR6. Cowling says Racing on the side. So I am curious what the difference is between a regular XR6 and a Racing XR6?
