Its been awhile since I ran a 25" Bravo XS so I'm not sure. I'm guessing the 24" TXP OT4 would be similar, or even a bit harder to turn.

Compared to a Croxton 24" Bravo I, it was slightly harder to turn. Compared to a 23" lab finished Revolution 4, it was very similar in RPM.
24" is still for sale
Yes, the 23" is sold.
Sale pending on the 23"

NAPA #CRB 215001 basket filters. They are a very common automotive fuel injector filter. My local NAPA stocks them, about $1 each. They are the same filters for the HP pump (secret filters) and also...
Lightly used Rite Hite Yamaha Trim Extenders.$24.00 shipped to the US 48 state area
I'm far from a prop guru but since no one has replied, I'll give it a shot...
I've never ran a T1 but have used several Scorpions (S3). The S3s are very stiff in pitch. Your numbers indicate about...
I bought the new style S3 from Overtons over a year ago. When I ordered it, the website said it was in stock.....which it was not. It took 6 weeks to get it.
In addition to the SAV holes, the new models of the S3 Scorpion have a slightly longer barrel with a faired tip. The older models have small vent locating holes and a shorter straight barrel.
Yes, there are 10 of the basket filters on the 3.3 HPDIs. The injectors and HP pumps take the same filters. NAPA #CRB 215001 fits. They are a common automotive filter. The basket isn't quite as deep...
I've been running a 3.3 HPDI with all the Hydro Tec phase III mods for about 10 years. While it is not overly loud, the mods to the throttle body air intake make it noisier than a stock engine...
If the 26" Razor doesn't spin up on hole shot with 3 PVS holes all open, have 3 more holes added for a total of 6.
I'm running a 23" on a fish/ski setup that is very heavy and needs lots of bowlift. It works great. It runs about 200 RPMs less than a 24" modified Bravo I I have but is about 3-4 mph faster. The...
FYI, I recently purchased a new OT4 prop and needed a cav ring. I bought one from Mark and it was too small. I know these fit extremely tight since I have used his rings before. After quite a bit if...
I use the Torklift thick upper rubber spring spacer blocks and the lower engageable spring wedges. The Torklift products seem well made but they are pricey. I also added their Glow Step Revolution...
I run Air Lift bags at about 80# with the Torklift stable loads. Yes I have seen mention of a bouncy ride with bags but have not really experienced this.
I also use a Curt 45048 2-1/2" x 2" hitch...
I haven't seen a mention of gearcase or gear ratio. The numbers mentioned indicate a 1.62 which I think was only available with the sportmaster. Assuming this is in fact a sportmaster, a 1.75 Torque...
You can get the 7400# payload in the gas, standard cab dually. Going to a diesel, crew cab dually cuts the payload to 5900#. It is not a give that the diesel, crew cab will handle any camper made if...
I'm 5000' and have always had a hard time getting bow lift. I've wondered if the thinner air, less dense, has an effect on bow lift from the air packing under the hull. Aircraft have reduced lift at...
If you are talking about the sparkplug boots, yes they can be tested. They screw into the wires. Unscrew them by removing them from the plug then hold the wire and turn counter clock wise just like a...
I was in exactly the same situation. I bought a freshly rebuild 2006 3.3 HPDI in 2009. It ran great for 6 years then blew. Both times it was a locator pin failure with the Yamaha pistons. I decided...
Absolutely agree. Use a canister filter on the boat that has a water separating drain on the bottom.
In addition, a got so tired of having HPDI lift pump problems and the engine water separator...
The medium pressure electric pump will run when the key is first turned to ignition. You should be able to hear it. It will shut on its own after 5-10 seconds. I've never had to use the Schrader...
