Try pumping the primer bulb when running the motor at power. See if the problem stays or goes away. See if the primer bulb can be kept full and tight while pumping it.

Cells within a battery are at times wired in parallel and/or in series. Most battery makers generally say OK to X number of their batteries being connected in series and/or parallel.

Thanks for the report. No reason at all why the battery should not work well with your F300. Similar electrical system as the VF250. Many of which are using lithium batteries.

Making Oil is a term used when excessive amounts of gasoline get into the oil system. All four strokes are susceptible to this. Yamaha 4.2 liter blocks with flame sprayed cylinders liners seem moreso.

Depends upon the F300 model. Some use digital controls. Which would require a digital hot foot. If they exist. A mechanical F300 is similar to a VF250 in that it uses mechanical controls.
